Bon Temps Paddle Festival is set to return to Lake Wylie

This year marks the 5th annual “Bon Temps Paddle Battle on Wylie” and they have packed in the fun for those who want to come out and stay on dry land as well as those who want to paddle. Whether you’re a live music lover, a vendor event shopper, a beer and wine sipper, a foodie, a seasoned paddler, or a fun-lovin’ paddle newbie.

Whether you’re a seasoned or beginner paddler or a spectator looking for fun and excitement, this event offers something for everyone! Beginners can participate in a 1-mile race or push themselves a little harder in the 3.5-mile race and the advanced paddler can take it up a notch in the 7 or 14-mile distance courses. There’s also a Guppies race and a SUP Pup Cup for your human babies and fur babies, respectively.

This event includes live music, beverage & food vendors, yoga and so much more.

No Equipment, No Problem! Anchored Soul will be available to assist with all your equipment needs. Never paddleboarded before and would like to try it out, contact Heidi Schmidt Cole, American Canoe Association certified SUP Instructor and owner of Anchored Soul, to schedule a lesson.
