Gastonia Greenway Extended Through Town in Gaston County

Construction has just wrapped up on an extension of the Avon and Catawba Creeks Greenway through central Gastonia. Connecting Lineberger Park to Second Avenue, this new paved section increases neighborhood connectivity and allows more access to nature for residents of Gastonia.

 The extension was funded in part by Wells Fargo. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on October 19 at 4 p.m.
