Art Exhibit at DSBG

The Carolinas’ Garden for all seasons, providing guests a chance to reconnect with nature and to create lifelong memories with friends and family. Located on 380 acres along the banks of Lake Wylie, spectacular gardens, sparkling fountains, a conservatory dedicated to the display of tropical plants and orchids, a visitor pavilion, a garden store and nature trails await the visitor.

Art Galleries

Gaston County Museum located in historic downtown Dallas offers not only historical exhibits but an art display that changes regularly. Also located in Dallas is the Gaston College Art Galleries supporting the appreciation and understanding of art through direct engagement with original works of art. Awaken Gallery, located in Mount Holly, displays art by local artists with a mission to create conversation.

Performance Art

Belmont Abbey College has established a long tradition in arts founding the Abbey Players a theatrical company where students, faculty and staff collaborate in dramatic and musical performances. The Joy Theatre opened June 1, 1949 in the heart of Kings Mountain. It is currently home to the Kings Mountain Little Theatre and is now known as the Joy Performance Center.
