Celebrate the holiday season with Carolina Pro Musica’s annual Christmas concert, featuring festive music from the 18th century! Narrator Bob (Max) Sweeten will bring the Christmas story to life through readings and poetry, while the ensemble performs on period instruments, including baroque recorder, flauto traverso, viola da gamba, harpsichord, and guitar. The program includes a mix of carols for all to sing, chant, and selections by renowned composers such as J.S. Bach, Telemann, Zipoli, and Alessandro Scarlatti. The musicians will appear in period attire, creating an authentic and immersive experience.
