Kings Mountain Historical Museum, in partnership with the Nutty for Nutcrackers Museum,is excited to announce Christmas on Piedmont Avenue, a free community holiday celebration taking place Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00am to 2:00pm in downtown Kings Mountain.

This festive street event will feature live music, local arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, children’s activities, and living history demonstrations, offering a fun and family-friendly holiday experience for visitors of all ages. The event is held in conjunction with the City of Kings Mountain and will lead directly into the City’s annual Christmas Parade at 3:00pm, bringing thousands of residents and visitors to the heart of the city.

“Christmas on Piedmont Avenue is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate community, creativity, and the holiday spirit, ” said Michael Turner Webb. “Our partnership with the Nutty for Nutcrackers Museum enhances this years’ experience with unique exhibits and activities that highlight local culture and tradition. ”

The Museum is also welcoming arts & crafts vendors and community sponsors to participate in the celebration. Vendor spaces are available for a fee, as well as sponsorship opportunities, helping support free family programming and cultural education.
