Please join us in welcoming beloved historical and dystopian fiction (and millennial cult favorite) author Lois Lowry to Belmont! Lois will be joined in conversation with Scott Reintgen, master of fantasy and adventure. We simply cannot wait to host this dynamic duo in Belmont, NC!Lois Lowry is the author of more than fifty books for children and young adults, including the New York Times bestselling "The Giver", Giver Quartet, and the popular Anastasia Krupnik series. She has received countless honors, among them the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award, and the Mark Twain Award. She received Newbery Medals for two of her novels, "Number the Stars" and "The Giver". Scott Reintgen is a former public school teacher from North Carolina. When he’s not writing, he uses his imagination to entertain his wife, Katie, and their three children. Scott is the New York Times bestselling author of the Waxways series, the Nyxia trilogy, the Dragonships series ("The Last Dragon on Mars") , and the Celia Cleary series for younger readers.
