The Belmont Bookshop's 2nd Annual Literary Festival is set to take place in Belmont, NC on September 5th, 2026, during Labor Day Weekend. This exciting holiday weekend will feature a variety of activities including family entertainment, author conversations, a chess tournament, and live theater performances. Confirmed adult authors include Mona Awad, Nat Cassidy, Richard Chizmar, and many more, alongside children's authors such as Steve Sheinkin and Maurice Ashley. Special guest appearance by The Gruffalo is also anticipated. Vendor applications for artisans, food and beverage, indie authors, and non-profits are open, and Panel Pass and VIP Tickets will be available soon.
