Join us for the Birding Walks at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, led by experienced volunteer and avid birdwatcher, Gail Ice. This guided adventure is perfect for birdwatchers of all skill levels, offering an educational and enjoyable opportunity to explore the diverse avian life along our Garden trails. Participants will meet outside the Garden’s Visitors Pavilion and embark on a scenic walk where they'll learn about local bird species, their habitats, and behaviors while enjoying the beauty of nature. What to Expect: - A guided bird-watching experience along the Garden trails. - Insight from an experienced birder about various local species. - The chance to discover beautiful spots within the Garden while observing birds in their natural habitat. - Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars for enhanced birdwatching. Important Information: - Open to all ages and birdwatching levels; pets are not allowed. - Dress appropriately for hiking, wearing comfortable shoes and layers, and be prepared for varying weather conditions. - Respect for wildlife and adherence to Leave No Trace principles is encouraged. - Registration is not required; simply meet at the Visitors Pavilion at the designated time to join.
