7 Member Board; Initial Staggered Terms; Thereafter Terms Shall be Three-Year Terms Serving a Maximum of Two Full Three-Year Terms (Six Years Total), And Then Taking a One-Year Sabbatical Before Any Reappointment.

To Examine the State of Natural Resources in Gaston County, to Review Environmental Concerns to Determine if State & Federal Regulations are Sufficient to Remedy these Concerns, to Develop Consensus on Recommendations to be Made to the Board of County Commissioners, and to Report these Recommendations Quarterly to the Board of Commissioners at the Last Board Meeting of Each Quarter.
