This 90-acre park includes some of the most unique amenities in the Gaston County park system.

Park Amenities

• The park has equestrian facilities including a horse arena with riding ring, show control building, concession building, and 5 barns with stalls for 124 horses.

• For anglers, there are three fishing lakes.

• Six lighted tennis courts are available for public and league use. Two of which are painted for pickleball.

• A four-field softball/baseball complex is available for public and tournament use

• One-mile walking trail

• Amphitheater with a lovely view of one of the lakes

• Two large and two small lakeside picnic shelters, and eight picnic pads

• Playground

• Covered fitness pavilion

• Dog park

• Restrooms

Historic Village

History buffs will want to visit the historic village, which includes a 19th century barn, house, and school house. The village also includes a period chapel and blacksmith shop. One permanent exhibit in the park is an operational 1900 single-stand, continental cotton gin. The cotton gin roars to life during Heritage Days, an annual festival held the second weekend of each October.

Park hours of operation are 6:00 am until 11:00 pm, unless otherwise posted.
