We have a fun, unique experience planned for folks that participate in the crawl. The idea is to provide an opportunity for everyone to check out each of our individual businesses and see first-hand how there really is something for everyone in Downtown. The five businesses participating are Cavendish Brewing Company, The Rooster, Gaston Pour House, Freeman’s Irish Pub and CityCade. Each location will be offering drink specials and entertainment throughout the night. Some are giving away prizes and swag at the door, and others have donated gifts and prizes for individuals who complete the crawl by patronizing all 5 stops. Each location will have punch cards for people to keep track of their stops. After the crawl, there will be a drawing for the prizes.

To make this event even bigger, three of the stops will have vendors on site with unique gifts, hand crafted goods, collectibles, art, etc adding to the ambiance and the overall sense of community.

According to the participating businesses, there is no “right or wrong” way to complete the crawl, you can bounce around however you see fit. However, we do have a suggested route to follow, and the hope is that most people will follow the route. We would love to see a large crowd at each of our businesses each hour. Below is the “suggested schedule”

6pm -7pm: Cavendish

7pm - 8pm: The Rooster

8pm - 9pm: Gaston Pour House

9pm-10pm: Freeman’s

10pm-11pm: CityCade

Here’s what to expect at each stop.

Cavendish Brewing Company will be giving away branded pint glasses to the first 50 people to complete the crawl. DJ Magic Mike will be on site all evening and vendors on site will be Juniper & WIllow, Industrial Mayhem, Feral Artistree and Earwax Records. Drinks Specials are $4 Brewmaster Special, $3 off Green Tea Shots and $2 off Large Pizzas.

The Rooster is waiving the door charge for the show that night, which is a Janis Joplin Tribute by Beth Gatlin with HOBE Jams and Anna & Friends. The Bone Priestess and Collecting Crows will be the vendors on site. Drink specials are $4 Cavendish Beer, $3 Jello Shots and $5 Liquid Marijuana Cocktails. Prizes for those who complete the crawl include a merch bundle (tote bag, tee shirt, keychain, stickers and magnet) and two 4-packs of tickets to an upcoming show.

Gaston Pour House will have Cougar Mountain Boys in the house for a night of southern rock and country. Specials include $2 PBR, $6 Three Wise Men Shots and $8 South Street 75 cocktails. Up for grabs for completing the crawl will be a bottle of Ascent Cabernet Sauvignon and gift cards.

Freeman’s Irish Pub will have Baxter’s DJ Karaoke starting at 9pm and will be giving away swag bags at the door for those participating in the crawl until supplies run out. Drink special is $5 house drinks all night.

CityCade will also be hosting karaoke and will have Recreational Filth and Twin Palms for vendors on site. Tee shirts are up for grabs for those who complete the crawl and drink specials include $4 Cavendish brews, $3 Jello Shots and $6 Ms Pac Man cocktails.
