Opening Day Highlights:
Explore exclusive artifacts from Mrs. Yates’ tenure in the West Wing, including personal mementos, photographs, papers, and a signed portrait from President Jimmy Carter, who once called her “the most professional public servant I have ever worked with.”

Born in Dallas in 1924, Nell Yates rose from humble beginnings to hold a key role in one of the most powerful offices in the world. The exhibit sheds light on her unique story, her dedication to public service, and her significant contributions to U.S. history.
