Caminemos y Rodemos Juntos Gaston 2024

Gaston County Public Health and the nonprofit organization Disability Rights of North Carolina are putting together the second annual “Caminemos y Rodemos Juntos Gaston 2024/ Gaston Walk and Roll Together 2024” on September 17th, 2024 from 9 am to 1 pm, in Downtown Gastonia. Our goal is to expose community members to local businesses and available resources. The vision is to show how we can all work together toward building a better community.

Last year we had over 700 community members attend this event and over 50 community partners provided information to the participants. Throughout the walk, streets were colored with flying flags of people representing the many cultures in this county. Definitely a proud moment for all!!.

We are inviting community-focused organizations, businesses, and service providers to meet the community and share information. This is a great opportunity to connect with the community, particularly with the Latino community.
