Rocky Branch Park in Cramerton

Rocky Branch Park in Cramerton

700 Eagle Rd

In Spring of 2021, the Town of Cramerton, City of Belmont, and Gaston County Schools formed a "first of its kind" partnership in Gaston County to create the first inter-municipal park in the region. With non-profit partners - the Carolina Thread Trail and Tarheel Traiblazers on board, this unique alliance is working to improve and expand Rocky Branch Park.

RBP is 55 acre wooded park that crosses municipal boundaries and connects the Town of Cramerton and the City of Belmont. The park which is currently undergoing an enhancement and expansion will evolve and transform a public open space in the heart of Belmont and Cramerton into an urban trail system for mountain biking enthusiasts, runners and walkers. The new RBP will be accessible for a whole new and diverse userbase! With minimal trail intersections users will be able to enjoy a stroll under a beautifully shaded heritage tree canopy and bikers will be able to select from four different single track trails of increasing difficulty and varying distances.
