Bon Temps Paddle Festival is set to return to Lake Wylie

This year we have packed in the fun for those who want to come out and stay on dry land as well as those who want to paddle. Whether you’re a live music lover, a vendor event shopper, a beer and wine sipper, a foodie, a seasoned paddler, or a fun-lovin’ paddle newbie, we have something for you this year.
Competing Is Exciting!
Whether you’re a seasoned or beginner paddler or a spectator looking for fun and excitement, this event offers something for everyone! Beginners can participate in a 1-mile race or push themselves a little harder in the 3.5-mile race and the advanced paddler can take it up a notch in the 7 or 14-mile distance courses. There’s also a Guppies race and a SUP Pup Cup for your human babies and fur babies, respectively.

the City of Belmont is hosting a pre-race party with live music, food and beer at Primal Brewery in Belmont. Each registered paddler will be provided dinner and 1 beer. Guests are also welcomed to attend the pre-race party but are responsible for their food and beverage orders.

McAdenville Waterfall Launch | 501 Lakeview Dr., Belmont, NC
Lazy-river-style "Float the Fork" paddle on the South Fork River. The paddle will begin at the McAdenville Waterfall Launch at 9 am. After the paddle meet at The Bottle Tree in Belmont for food, beverages and live music.

No Equipment, No Problem! Anchored Soul will be available to assist with all your equipment needs. Never paddleboarded before and would like to try it out, contact Heidi Schmidt Cole, American Canoe Association certified SUP Instructor and owner of Anchored Soul, to schedule a lesson.
