Catawba Riverkeeper Announces Grand Opening of New Headquarters and River Room Tap Room

Updated: Aug 14

Catawba Riverkeeper has moved into our new headquarters, fulfilling our founders' vision of having a centrally located office on the water! Our new headquarters is just a few hundred yards from the Town of McAdenville Greenway and Kayak Launch on the banks of the South Fork Catawba River at Dynamo 31, the former 1940s Pharr Yarns mill adjacent to Pharr’s corporate office in downtown McAdenville. In addition to office space, a premier lab (funded by Xylem Watermark), and classroom (funded by Duke Energy Foundation), Catawba Riverkeeper is opening a taproom and event space for members and guests alike. While the space will operate as a private club, all Catawba Riverkeeper members will enjoy access and may bring guests and limited memberships are available for purchase at the River Room for guests who are just coming in for refreshment. All revenue earned from the taproom and event space directly supports Catawba Riverkeeper’s mission to protect local water quality. We hope you'll join us for the Grand Opening Weekend of the River Room - sponsored by Creative Solutions Special Events and TowBoatUS Lake Wylie this weekend - September 23-25!
