The Gaston County Museum in historic downtown Dallas, NC, is pleased to announce the opening of the regional juried art exhibit, SHUT IN, in the museum’s Bullpen Gallery. This juried exhibition highlights artist work completed during the shutdown and subsequent months of dramatic change due to the global pandemic. SHUT IN presents original, dynamic, and innovative work from regional artists on a variety of subject matters and in a range of mediums.

SHUT IN is a glimpse into the inspiration behind artists’ works, what kept them creating, and their commentary on the world around them. SHUT IN is a great example of the resilience of artists, and how creating never missed a beat. Visit the Gaston County Museum from January 29th- March 19th, 2022 to view this unique exhibition!
