Fun Sporting Events to Watch at Belmont Abbey this Fall

There is something special about attending a college sports event. As much as we all love our professional teams, you can't beat the passion that can be found in the players and fans at a college game. College players leave it all on the playing field, blood, sweat and tears, every time they play.
The Crusaders
Get in on the energy at Belmont Abbey College where the Crusaders "Fight for the Red". The Belmont Abbey Crusaders participate in the NCAA's Division II program and are members of Conference Carolinas. Below is a list of home games coming up this November. Wheeler Center
Built in 1969, the Wheeler Center serves as the centerpiece for Belmont Abbey Athletics. The facilities gym is the home for Crusader men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, acrobatics and tumbling, cheer, wrestling and Belmont Abbey's fan base, The Red Sea.
The gym saw its first collegiate action in 1970 with men's basketballs inaugural season inside the facility. Over the years, it has seen an addition of numerous sports including women's basketball in 1981, women's volleyball in 1982, wrestling in 2006, men's volleyball 2013, and acrobatics and tumbling beginning in 2019.
