The Ridgeline Craft Beverage Trail Game in Gaston County

Gaston County Tourism has created this free game to promote the Ridgeline Craft Beverage Trail. This trail includes ten craft beverage producers outside of Charlotte along the ridgeline of Crowders Mountain and the Catawba River Basin in Gaston, Cleveland, and Lincoln counties. The trail includes one distillery, two wineries, and several breweries.

Taking part in the Ridgeline Craft Beverage Trail game is easy! All you have to do is sign up for a chance to win weekly prizes of Yeti drink cups and a grand prize of a $250 VISA gift card. For even more chances to win, check-in at any of the venues on the trail and you will better your chances of winning! Winners are selected at random, and there is no cost to enter. Check-in once per day at each of the venues along the trail through April 30, 2023!

In a place known for a vast array of outdoor recreation choices, there is no better way to wind down after your adventures than relaxing with friends and family at our partner locations. Whether in one of our vibrant downtowns, along scenic riverbanks, or framed by the gorgeous views of mountain peaks and rolling farmlands, you will want to see these perfect post-activity recovery spots. Several include live music, full menus, food trucks, and other events. But at each, you'll enjoy warm smiles and welcoming interactions with staffers and fellow patrons.
Muddy River Distillery
1500 River Dr., Belmont, NC Muddy River Distillery located along the banks of the Catawba River is the oldest legal rum distillery in the Carolinas. They do everything in house including fermenting, distilling, aging and bottling.
Primal Brewery
Belmont, 52 Ervin St., Belmont, NC Artfully crafted beer brewed with locally sourced ingredients and served fresh to the community. Primal Brewery offers FREE tours every Saturday and Sunday. You do not need to register. Stop in for a beer, stay for a bite to eat, hang out on the patio and check out the game room.
Jekyll & Hyde Taphouse and Grill
10 Catawba St., Belmont, NC Jekyll and Hyde is located in downtown Belmont. It is a steampunk gastropub and brewery with a large selection of beers, wine, unique craft cocktails and great food.
Belmont Brewhouse
1500 River Dr., Belmont NC This nano brewery is located around the corner from Muddy River Distillery, in the same building. Belmont Brewhouse has an outdoor patio.
Traust Brewing

BrickTree Brewing Co in Lincolnton is a 12,00-square-foot, two-level brewery with a 10-barrel brew system that can brew up to 300 gallons at a time. BrickTree is a place to disconnect, drink a few beers and hang out with friends. A craft beer bar on both levels as well as outdoor seating is also available. Keep an eye on their calendar for on-site food trucks and events.
