Cramerton
Cramerton es un pequeño pueblo ubicado en el área metropolitana de Charlotte, Carolina del Norte, dentro del condado de Gaston, a orillas del río South Fork, al sur y entre Belmont y McAdenville. Los visitantes pueden acceder a Cramerton y todo lo que ofrece por la I-85, saliendo de la 26 a través de Belmont, o por la salida 23 pasando por McAdenville. La autopista 74 también pasa justo al norte del pueblo y llega directamente a Charlotte si busca una ruta más pintoresca.

The Town of Cramerton extended Goat Island Greenway. This extension is called the River Link Greenway which will add .7 miles to the Carolina Thread Trail. The River Link Greenway winds along the banks of the South Fork River. At the end of the greenway is a boardwalk that leads to a viewing area overlooking the natural wetlands.

The Goat Island Greenway is .7 miles of paved surface trail, including two pedestrian bridges that go over two sections of the South Fork Catawba River onto Goat Island Park.
Riverside Greenway

1.3 Miles One Way
This segment of the Thread Trail winds along the bank of the South Fork River. The land for this trail was donated by Burlington. Walkers, runners, and bikers will enjoy exercising along a variety of surface types, including pavement, boardwalk, and community sidewalk. The trail ends at the Southern Railroad overpass where hikers can make the loop around a clearing and walk back to the trailhead.
