Join Kenlontae Turner, curator of collections at the Hampton University Museum, for a special evening exploring the life and legacy of renowned artist Dr. John T. Biggers. This talk will highlight Dr. Biggers’ journey from college student to master storyteller and mentor, with a focus on select works from both the Hampton University Museum and the Gaston County Museum's permanent collection.

Turner, who curated John Biggers: Dance of Creation at Hampton University, will offer insight into Dr. Biggers’ visual language and the broader cultural impact of his work.
