Led by our Environmental Educators, students are plant detectives as they study what plants need to survive – and how do they get what they need? Learn by “digging” into the often-hidden world of soil and roots that support the stems, leaves, flowers and seeds of plants. Discover how each plant part has a special function, examine plant structures and investigate how plants interact with their environment and everything around them to thrive. Through this lesson, students will uncover what’s happening beneath the soil, explore plant connections and how plants are connected to everything around them!
