Join us for the Butterfly Release Experience, held weekly on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to Noon at the Butterfly Bungalow for $10 (plus garden admission or membership). This enchanting behind-the-scenes event invites you to help welcome the newest butterflies as you participate in their release into the exhibit. Surrounded by hundreds of free-flying butterflies, you'll carefully open protective envelopes and witness each butterfly’s initial moments in its new home—some will take flight immediately, while others will take their time to awaken, making every release a unique experience. To ensure an intimate and optimal experience, this small-group event is limited to 10 participants and will be closed to the public. The release lasts about 15–20 minutes, with an allowance of up to 30 minutes to fully enjoy the experience. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to maximize your time in the exhibit.
