Join us for a guided Pollen Walk with Dr. Michael Lapuente, a local allergist from Carolinas Asthma & Allergy Center, on Thursday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at the Daniel Stowe Conservancy. Led by curator Karen Kottkamp, this interactive event will explore the gardens, highlighting trees, grasses, and weeds that commonly trigger seasonal allergies in our region. Participants will learn to recognize common allergens, understand their daily exposures, anticipate seasonal changes, and discover strategies for feeling better outdoors. This unique opportunity allows you to connect your allergy experiences with the local flora. No pre-registration is required; simply meet us at the Garden Pavilion. Note that garden admission is required for non-members. Special thanks to Carolinas Asthma & Allergy Center for sponsoring our spring planting!
