Join us for "Live @ Your Library: Common Threads from The Underground Railroad and the Stories Beyond," featuring The African American Quilt Guild of Gaston County. This engaging event will explore the rich narratives of The Underground Railroad and beyond through stories, songs, and the artistry of quilts. Designed for school-age students and up, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on art project, thanks to a partnership with Keep Gastonia Beautiful. This initiative is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, the Gaston Arts Council, and the Friends of the Gaston County Public Library. Your attendance helps make programs like this possible—thank you for your support! For more details, visit our calendar at https://gastonlibrary.org/calendar.aspx?EID=7568.
