The Rooster is teaming up with Shellshock Promotions, Cutthroat Concerts & Sunflower & Madhattor for: A Different Course of Action: A Benefit for Hope United Survivors Network & The Cathy Mabry Cloninger Domestic Violence Shelter along with bands, promoters, stakeholders, volunteers and non-profit organizations in the local metal and hard rock music community. We are coming together to raise awareness, resources and funds for these two organizations: The Cathy Mabry Cloninger Domestic Violence Shelter is Gaston County’s temporary, emergency shelter for Domestic Violence victims that are in immediate danger. Hope United Survivors Network is an organization that provides longer term support and resources to survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse and victims of trauma. Joining the festivities and providing entertainment for the day will be: Haymaker (Charlotte, NC Heavy Metal) Salamander X (ATL Trap Metal) Absent Colors (NC Metal) Two Stroke (Shelby, NC Beatdown) Screwed Ends (NC/SC Hardcore) Home For The Day (Taylorsville, NC Dad Punk) Marked For Death (Charlotte, NC Hardcore) Mr Toxic (Charlotte, NC Horrorcore Hip Hop) Driven By Extinction (Charlotte, NC Deathcore) Sacrificial Betrayal (Richmond, VA Hardcore/Groove Metal) ZomBman (High Point, NC Trap Metal) Lilith Rising (Gastonia/Charlotte, NC Goth Metal) Oceans Run Red (Carolina Deathcore) Music will rotate throughout the event between the indoor stage and outdoor stage. Heart Support Carolinas, a non-profit organization that provides help with mental health for music fans, will also be on site. Misfit Market will have vendors on site. There will also be a food truck! Doors open at 4pm, Music begins at 5pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show and 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Hope United and The Shelter in addition to all funds raised through the raffles that will take place throughout the day and donations. All Ages welcome. We have also added a “donation” option if you would like to donate/support this event and these organizations but are unable to attend the event. Just select the “Donation” ticket type and finish the checkout process.
