Enjoy a peaceful morning outdoors with Birding Walks at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Led by longtime Garden volunteer and passionate birder Gail Ice, these guided walks invite participants to explore the Garden’s scenic trails while learning about the bird species that call this landscape home.

Perfect for beginners and experienced birders alike, each walk offers insight into local birds, their habitats, and behaviors—along with the chance to slow down and experience the natural beauty of the Garden. Bring binoculars if you have them and be ready to spot feathered friends along the way.

Good to know:

  • Walks meet outside the Garden Pavilion

  • Open to all ages and experience levels

  • Registration not required

  • Held rain or shine; dress for the weather and comfortable walking

  • Pets are not permitted

Guests without Garden memberships who wish to explore beyond the walk will need to purchase Garden admission. Birding Walks are offered multiple times throughout the year—making it easy to enjoy nature in every season.
