Join us for Birding Walks at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, an adventure led by experienced volunteer and birdwatcher, Gail Ice. This guided tour offers a chance to explore the diverse bird life along the Garden trails, making it perfect for both seasoned birders and beginners. Participants will meet outside the Garden's Visitors Pavilion for an educational experience that includes learning about local bird species, their habitats, and behaviors. What to Expect: - A guided bird-walk featuring hidden gems and scenic spots within the Garden. - Insights into local avian life from an expert birder. - Opportunities to observe birds in their natural environment while enhancing your experience with your own binoculars, if available. Important Details: - Open to all ages and levels; pets are not permitted. - Dress for hiking: wear comfortable shoes, layered clothing, and prepare for rain as the event is held rain or shine. - Participants should respect wildlife and adhere to Leave No Trace principles. - No registration is needed; simply gather outside the Pavilion at the scheduled time. Note that non-members wishing to explore the Garden's interior after the walk must purchase admission tickets. Don't miss this chance to connect with nature and appreciate the art of birdwatching at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden!
