Come join in the West African drum instructor’s Samuel Marquaye and Jordan Mensah, come let’s warmup in spring as we’re waiting for beautiful summer around the corner. Bring your (Jembe, Dundun kpanlogo, & More) and don’t worry if you don’t drum we have a lot to offer. Monday nights, 6:30 - 7:45pm for 12 weeks (April 20th through) third week of June , there will be no class on Monday,, May 25 at the First Congregational Church of Berlin (FCCB) 1808 Scott Hill Rd, Berlin Jordan Mensah of Shidaa Projects, Inc. will host a series of eight evening sessions of West African drumming. Jordan will be teaching the drumming techniques of West Africa and leading the group in shared drumming using those techniques. The cost is $10 per participant for the entire series of eight sessions. Drop in $11. If you have a drum, please bring it, or let Heather and Jordan know that you need a drum when you register for the series. Financial assistance is available upon request.
