Discover the beauty, history, and hidden details of Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden on a free guided docent tour, held every Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Led by one of the Garden’s knowledgeable docent volunteers (trained guides who love sharing stories and insights), this relaxed walking tour introduces visitors to the Garden’s rich history, diverse habitats, seasonal plants, and thoughtfully designed garden spaces. Along the way, you’ll learn how the Garden connects nature, education, and conservation in a peaceful lakeside setting just outside Charlotte.
Tours begin in the Garden Pavilion lobby and last approximately one hour. No pre-registration is required—just arrive by 1:30 p.m.
Tours are free, though non-members must purchase Garden admission to enter.
Space is limited to 20 participants.
Recommended for ages 5 and up.
