Carnivorous Plant Container GardeningMike Delange, a local bog garden enthusiast, will be our speaker. Mike's love of carnivorous plants started with an innocent purchase by his wife. A 1 Venus flytrap from the Lowe's clearance rack led to a few more plants, then even more after that and so on. His collection now includes pitcher plants, sundews, and Venus flytraps. And he has expanded into other bog plants like yellow eye grass, bog violets, bog orchids, and white-top star grasses. All these happily grow in containers with just a little bit of special planning and care. When not in his own garden, Mike enjoys visiting bogs across the United States.
