Title Charlotte Blues Society Presents: Bill Miller Band w/House of Bones June 19, 2026 Time: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM The Rooster 334 W Main Ave, Gastonia, NC, USA VENUE INFO LEARN MORE Join us for a night of electrifying blues at The Rooster, as we partner with the Charlotte Blues Society for our monthly residency on the 3rd Friday of each month. This May, we are excited to feature the Bill Miller Band, with special guest House of Bones. Doors open at 7 PM and the show kicks off at 8 PM, welcoming all ages. General admission tickets are available for $17 in advance and $20 at the door, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. The Bill Miller Band, known for their high-powered and contemporary take on vintage blues, features a father-son duo sharing vocal duties, with Bill III on guitar and Bill Jr. on harmonica. Since 2006, they have captivated audiences across the southeastern U.S. by blending Chicago blues, Texas influences, and Southern Rock, infused with their unique passion. They are celebrated for their achievements, including being quarter-finalists at the International Blues Challenge and winning the Charlotte Music Awards Blues Band of the Year. Title Charlotte Blues Society Presents: Mojo Stomp April 17, 2027 Time: 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM The Rooster 334 W Main Ave, Gastonia, NC, USA VENUE INFO LEARN MORE The Rooster has partnered with Charlotte Blues Society for a monthly residency on the 3rd Friday of each month, featuring Blues artists in the Carolina's Blues community. In April, we welcome Salisbury-based Mojo Stomp with Bazz the Granddude and Good Sports!Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. All Ages. General Admission, standing room, tickets are $17 in advance and $20 at the door. Guaranteed seating tickets are $25 in advance, these are the only way to guarantee a seat at one of our tables. Mojo Stomp was Charlotte Blues Society's 2026 International Blues Challenge band winner and performed at the Southern Resonance Roots Festival. Mojo Stomp is a trio formed in 2021, known for their raw blues rock sound and energetic live performances. Fronted by Chad Butler on guitar and vocals, whose gritty style was inspired by blues legends like John Lee Hooker, Junior Kimbrough, and Lightning Hopkins. The band blends deep blues roots with modern rock energy. Scott Stewart drives the rhythm with dynamic, high-energy drumming, while Jeremy Surratt anchors the groove on bass completing a rhythm section with roots in both rock and jazz. Improvisation is the heart of Mojo Stomp shows, offering new twists and turns at every show. Their debut album, When The Dust Settles (April 2023) , captures the same raw edge delivering an authentic blues rock experience.
