Stowe Connector Trail

The Stowe Connector trail, in combination with the Duke Kimbrell Trail, form a loop around the perimeter of the Daniel Stowe Conservancy property. This trail is smoother and flatter than the Duke Kimbrell Trail. The section south of the parking lot gently descends through a mixed hardwood forest on a packed earth surface, while the northern section of the trail features crushed stone surfacing and remains very flat. While other trails exist on the Daniel Stowe Conservancy property, only the Duke Kimbrell Trail and Stowe Connector Trail are a part of the Carolina Thread Trail network. Rocky Branch Trail

The Rocky Branch Trail is a 1.25 mile enhanced natural surface trail that is a part of the 55 acre Rocky Branch Park. The park is a result of fantastic collaboration between the cities of Belmont and Cramerton as well as other partners including the Tarheel Trailblazers and the Carolina Thread Trail. Trail users can expect to enjoy a stroll under a beautifully shaded heritage trail canopy that extends from Belmont to Cramerton behind the Stuart Cramer High School. A number of single track mountain bike trails extend off of this beautiful trail segment which offer opportunities for cyclists of various experience levels to enjoy.

Discover 3.2 miles of walking trails around the Garden! Persimmon Trail, located off the parking lot, is a short trail that connects with the Carolina Thread Trail. Maintained by the Carolina Lands Conservancy, the Thread Trail meanders along Lake Wylie and connects with Meadowood Walk.
Duke Kimbrell Trail

3.45 miles, One Way
This trail is 3.1 miles and consists of natural and paved surfaces. The paved portion of the trail extends from the trailhead to Timberlake Point street just short of the Lake Wylie road bridge crossing. The natural surface trail extends from the trailhead along the shoreline of Lake Wylie and is located on 78 acres of preserved land managed by the Catawba Lands Conservancy. The trail connects to the Stowe Connector Trail at either end, creating a loop around the Daniel Stowe Conservancy. The Stowe Connector Trail connects to the Stowe Conservancy's parking lot, allowing visitors to reach the Duke Kimbrell Trail from either entrance. Visitors do not have to pay the Conservancy to walk on their trails.
*Special Note: Bicycles are allowed on the Duke Kimbrell Trail BUT NOT ALLOWED on the Daniel Stowe Conservancy's trails. Please do not ride the natural surface portions of the trail in wet conditions.
Belmont to Cramerton Sidewalk Connector

Starts at Stowe Park in Belmont and connects almost to Cramerton. Users take Eagle Road and follow the sidewalk until it stops in front of Pinebrook Swim Club.
