Have you ever smelled the stench of the Red Eyed Devil (yuck!) or heard the Gentleman Caller knocking on your door (should I answer it?!)? Join the staff of the Gaston County Museum and the Dallas Branch Library on a lantern-lit stroll through Historic Dallas and the 1852 Hoffman Hotel and hear about these hauntings and more! Tours are family friendly, though ages 13 and up are encouraged. Children under 13 are free. The tours involve approximately an hour of walking, with some non-paved terrain and stairs. Guests with accessibility concerns are asked to let staff know prior to the start of the tour. Tours are every Friday evening in October at 7:00 and 8:00 pm. (October 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.)
