Artists were challenged to produce works in a smaller format showing their skill at planning and executing artwork in miniature. The technical skill of the artist is put to the test to produce artwork that maintains their style and quality. While working on a smaller scale is not always easy for the artist, it benefits the buyer who wants to purchase multiple works at an affordable price. Artists from around the region have submitted over eighty works of art to be judged for cash prizes. Work can be found in a variety of media: oil, acrylic, and pastel paintings, mixed media, fiber, wood, and collage.
