Health and Nutrition Extension helps people make healthier decisions, reduce their risk of chronic disease and live better lives through a wealth of programs from nutrition to local foods to food safety. 4-H Youth Development Extension’s 4-H programs address the diverse issues of today’s youth, helping hundreds of thousands of youth grow into healthier, more involved generations of future leaders. The 6200 square foot addition to the Citizens Resource Center has expanded the room for dances and large events. It also includes a wellness room that includes weight equipment, a treadmill, and recumbent bike, a craft / multi-purpose room, and a computer room/library. With the new space comes new programs such as tai chi, yoga stretch, arthritis exercise classes, computer classes, and special services such as legal aid and tax preparation.
