Green River Revival and the Color Me Green 5K make St Patrick's Day outdoor fun at Whitewater Center

As the seasons shift towards spring, the Whitewater Center is gearing up to kick off its annual celebration with the return of the Green River Revival and the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run.

For years, the Whitewater Center, on the Catawba River just across from Mount Holly, has been the go-to destination for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers. And now, this much-anticipated event returns this year, marking the official beginning of the "whitewater" season.

Make your plans now to see the mischievous resident leprechaun work his magic, transforming the river into a shimmering shade of green and setting the stage for the day's excitement. Then, true to his playful nature, he makes a grand appearance during the event, adding to the festive atmosphere and spreading St. Patrick's Day cheer to all who attend. It's a delightful spectacle that adds a touch of whimsy to an already unforgettable experience at the Green River Revival.
