Transforming the museum into a Christmas wonderland filled with antique toys and games, the exhibit runs from November 24 to January 6, 2024. Chutes at Crowders Ridge

For those seeking winter thrills, Crowders Chutes opens its doors for a snowless tubing adventure. The Chutes, located at Crowders Ridge, offers a one-hour session of tubing fun for the whole family. With sessions running from November 24 to February 24 on Fridays and Saturdays, this exhilarating activity is a fundraiser supporting the camp's expansion. Rain or shine, the Chutes promise a memorable winter adventure contributing to a good cause.




Winterwonderland Sock Skating

at Schiele Museum

Back by popular demand, the Winter Wonderland Sock Skating at the Schiele Museum reopens on Friday, November 24. This indoor "skating" experience is perfect for kids aged 11 and under. For $3 per skater, participants can kick off their shoes and enjoy gliding on the indoor rink with socks replacing skates. Museum admission is required, providing a fantastic opportunity for families to create winter memories without the cold.




Letters to Santa in Cherryville

Drop off your letters to Santa in the specially arranged mailbox in Cherryville. Running from November 25th to December 15th, this festive initiative encourages participants to share their wishes and dreams with Santa Claus, fostering the holiday spirit and creating lasting memories.

Belmont Turkey Day 5k

Participate in the Belmont Turkey Day 5K on Thursday, November 23. This unique event is a donation run/walk dedicated to supporting two local charities, S.O.C.K.S. and Catherine's House.
