Celebrate the Holidays at the Schiele Museum
Step into a magical evening at the Schiele Museum of Natural History, where The Farm and planetarium glow with festive spirit during our “Holidays on the Farm” nights. Wander through paths lined with thousands of twinkling lights, festive wreaths and cheerful holiday trees. Warm up by the bonfire with a cup of hot cocoa, then drift into the dome of our planetarium for a dazzling laser-light show filled with holiday classics.
Holidays on the Farm
Fridays, November 28 - December 19 | 5pm - 8:30pm
Visit The Farm during a celebration of the holidays. Admire thousands of holiday lights while you enjoy a bonfire and hot cocoa. Create your own gift wrap and ornaments too!
Holiday Laser Shows
Fridays, November 28 - December 19 | 6pm and 7pm
Enjoy listening to all your favorite classic holiday songs accompanied by state-of-the-art laser graphics and live 360-degree lighting in the planetarium
Merry Melodies featuring Caleb Davis
December 20 | 5:30pm, 6:30pm & 7:30pm
Celebrate the spirit of the season with an evening of LIVE holiday music under the immersive planetarium dome. Seasonal drinks and photo opportunities are available before each show.
Holidays Around the World
November 28 - December 31 | Mondays - Saturdays at 12:30pm; 2:30pm on select dates
Explore the astronomy of seasons and the celestial connection to winter celebrations. Then, get into the festive spirit as we tour the globe in search of holiday traditions around the world. Great fun for the whole family!
Parent's Night Out
December 5 & February 13 | 6pm - 10pm
Parents can spend a night out while kids in grades K-5 have a blast at The Schiele! Pizza dinner provided. Kids get after-hours access to the exhibits, plus games and fun! Space is limited.
Winter Camp
December 29-31 & January 2 & 5 | 7:30am - 5:30pm
Kids in grades K-5 can spend time at the Schiele while school is out, enjoying exciting programs, activities, and crafts in a safe environment. Register for just one or two days, or plan for a full week of Winter Camp fun!
Dinos and Donuts
December 13 | 9am - 10:30am
Up on the housetop…dino claws?!
Plan a morning visit to The Schiele for photos with SantaSAURUS and some ho-ho-holiday fun for the whole family. Enjoy donuts, a prehistoric holiday story, and festive make-and-take activities.
Noon Year's Eve Party
