This year-long celebration honors the state's extensive network of trails, greenways, and blueways, showcasing the diverse landscapes that define it. As part of this grand celebration, Gaston County Tourism Development has created the Gaston County Art Trail, inviting visitors to embark on an artistic journey that intertwines with the splendor of the outdoors.

Visitors can find this trail at where they will find a vibrant tapestry of creativity as well as the fascinating stories and meaningful narratives that shape the significance of each piece. A digital map makes it easier to navigate the trail creating a journey of discovery and connection with the outdoor and natural surroundings in Gaston County.

These captivating art installations are located in the towns of Gastonia, Belmont, Mount Holly, Cramerton, McAdenville, Dallas, Stanley, Bessemer City, Cherryville, and Kings Mountain. The art along this trail can be found in our parks, at the entrance to the trailheads, and in our walkable downtowns and include awe-inspiring sculptures, captivating murals, thought-provoking installations, and even a few art galleries.
