18th Annual Toys, Games & Trains! at Kings Mountain Museum

November 27 to December 26. This annual exhibit fills the museum with a model train display assembled by local “S” Gaugers, as well as railroad memorabilia, and antique toys and games. Visitors of all ages will be enchanted as they explore the miniature snow-covered scenes that line the tracks. Parents and grandparents will enjoy reminiscing about the toys and games of their childhood.

Beach Blast


The water, the sand, the music and the fun—that’s life along the Grand Strand at Myrtle Beach, Kings Mountain will feel more like Ocean Drive as we celebrate all-day! A FREE concert featuring some of the hottest beach music bands at the Gazebo at Patriot's Park.

The Ridgeline Trail connects you to a 16-mile hiking trail loop at Kings Mountain State Park and Kings Mountain National Military Park called Kings Mountain National Recreation Trail.

2.1 miles, One Way

The sidewalk connects the Kings Mountain Gateway Trail to downtown Kings Mountain. Patriot Park is at the corner of Battleground Ave. and Gold St.

8 miles of trail, 5 of which are designated Thread Trail, which is comprised of crushed stone, boardwalk, and sidewalk and is ADA compliant.
